General Terms & Conditions


This website is operated by The DPF Company. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The DPF Company.

By accessing our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional policies referenced herein. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, vendors, and contributors of content.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use our services.


Payment

Interest at 18% per annum is due on accounts over 30 days.


Special Orders

The DPF Company may charge a 30% non-refundable deposit on special-order items over $1000 in total order value. The DPF Company will inform the customer if a non-refundable deposit applies to their order before arranging to bring in the items to fulfill the order.


Environmental Fee

The Environmental Fee supports the continued development of eco-friendly innovations and ensures compliance with local environmental standards.


Return Policy on Purchased Items

New unused goods returned within 30 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund or for a store credit if returned within 90 days of purchase. Products must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original condition and packaging. Custom, special-order, clearance, or electrical components may be non-returnable unless required by law. Shipping charges, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Original invoice required. A 5% restocking fee may be applied.


Credits

Credits and overpayments expire after 12 months – no exceptions.


Warranty


Limitations

The DPF Company is NOT liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental, economic or special damages of any kind (including, without limitation, claims for downtime, loss of use, or damage to other components). Our warranty is strictly limited to the specific item(s) we have sold. This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive obligation of The DPF Company, and does not extend to any alleged damage to other equipment or systems, including but not limited to engines or exhaust systems, even if such damage is claimed to have resulted from our goods or services.


Warranty on Goods

For any warranty claims for the manufacturer’s warranty on items purchased in new condition please fill out the warranty claim form  to start the warranty request process.


Lien and Disposal of Goods

We shall have a general and particular lien on all goods in our possession for any sums due and owing to us. Unpaid invoices exceeding ninety (90) days, may result in the sale, disposal of, or other dealings with the goods. The proceeds of any sale shall first be applied to the costs of sale and then to the outstanding amounts owed including interest charges, with any surplus (if applicable) remitted to you. You remain liable for any deficiency. Our rights under this clause are in addition to and not in substitution of any other rights or remedies available to us at law.


Emissions Compliance & Regulatory Notice

Products sold by The DPF Company are intended for lawful replacement, maintenance, or repair purposes only.

Installation or use of any product in a manner that disables, bypasses, or alters a vehicle’s emissions control system may violate applicable laws, including the United States Clean Air Act and corresponding Canadian environmental regulations.

The DPF Company does not sell or promote products intended to defeat, delete, or tamper with emissions control systems. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that products are installed and used in compliance with all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws.

Our website may provide access to third-party tools or links. These are provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or websites.


Prohibited Uses

You may not use the site or its content:

  • For unlawful purposes
  • To violate regulations or laws
  • To infringe intellectual property rights
  • To transmit malicious code
  • To interfere with site security or functionality

We reserve the right to terminate access for violations.


Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements through which we provide products or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Canada and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Where a transaction is subject to mandatory consumer protection laws, the laws of the customer’s state, province, or territory of residence shall apply to the extent required by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be excluded or waived under applicable federal, state, provincial, or territorial consumer protection legislation.


Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
